Wow, wow, wow! What a year this has been! And I couldn’t be happier!
At the start of the year, I will admit, I was worried… I had my concerns. Was my business dead? Did no one like my work anymore? Was CCP done after 17 years? I left the railway earlier this year, and had found very quickly that unfortunately, fulltime freight train life and running a fulltime business do not go hand in hand. While working in the railway, I unfortunately wasn’t able to fit many bookings in and my page became quieter and quieter, until crickets. No enquiries were coming in. I started the year feeling crushed. Like I had let you all down. But within a week of my railway time coming to an end, I had put up a post on my Facebook page letting everyone know that I was back and taking bookings!
I was absolutely blown away by the response I got. I had no idea how missed I was! And the enquiries started rolling in, and I was back! In my happy place! Shooting beautiful imagery for you all! Fast forward to now, the end of the year, and I have been so swamped with work I sadly had to start turning away bookings! I sometimes wish I could clone myself!
This year has been wild! Its seen me travelling back and forth from Sydney to the Hunter Valley almost daily some weeks! Its had me driving all the way to the Sunshine Coast to shoot maternity portraits for a dear client who has been with me for so long, her family is now my family. Its seen me at sunrise on beaches on the Gold Coast. Running through storms in a desert in Western Australia. In waterfalls everywhere I can find them. In all the oceans I can (which if we are being technical here, is the same ocean, but you get what I mean). On clifftops in every type of weather possible. In all the golden fields and all the city streets. This year has had me shooting in some of the most absolutely spectacular locations, as well as plenty of old favourites!
As the year now draws to end, I sit here smiling at all the memories I have created with you all! Some stats to end the year:

I will forever be so so grateful to you all! Without you I wouldn’t be here. I want to thank you all for allowing me into these special moments in your lives! For sharing this with me. For allowing me to become a friend and extension of your family. To say I’m the luckiest girl in the world would be an understatement, and I cant even express in words the gratitude I have for you all!
I cant wait to see what 2026 brings! New adventures! New faces! Plenty of familiar ones! And I cannot wait!
