Wow, what a huge and epic year it has been for CCP this year! I think its has been one of our biggest yet!
This year I was lucky enough to receive several Silver and Silver Distinction Awards at the NSW AIPP Epson State Awards. At this same awards, I was also lucky enough to place as finalist/runner up in the Wedding Category. This was a huge shock, and super exciting, as this has been a goal of mine for many years of entering the awards!
At the AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards, I was also lucky enough to receive several Silver Awards.
I received Highly Commended/Runner up at the Newcastle/Hunter Brides Choice Awards, and was awarded Runner Up in the Peoples Choice Category at The Sassies!
I have sponsored the Hunter Region Novice Powerlifting Series twice, and am proud to promote powerlifting in the Hunter. I played the role of Judge for the John Coxon memorial Photographic Awards and have been lucky enough to travel to some epic destination weddings this year, including Hamilton Island, the Sunshine Coast and Tamworth!
At the recent Australian Bridal Industry Awards we came 4th in the state with a tiny 0.07% difference in scores between myself and the winner.
We teamed up with the most awesome bunch of vendors I know and held a four day wedding exhibition at the launch of the brand new Stockland Greenhills. One of the coolest parts of this was at the end, a wedding was given away to an awesome, well deserving couple! A huge shoutout to Mansfield House, D’Vine Catering/Mansfield Catering, Love and Protect, Studio C Bridal, Refined Makeup Artistry and Wow Flowers who were also part of this awesome team! You guys have been one of the best parts of my year!
One of the biggest highlights for CCP this year would have to be the move into our brand new studio inside the awesome Mansfield House! Everyone that has been through our new studio, and had their shoots done in the grounds have absolutely loved it! I want to say a second huge thank you to the team at Mansfield House for the opportunity to become part of the Mansfield House family!
A big shoutout is also needed for my awesome second shooter Merindah, who goes above and beyond at every wedding to make things run smoothly for both myself and our awesome couples! I’m sure I can speak for all of our couples in saying that all your hard work is super appreciated!
I have been lucky enough this year to photograph so many awesome couples, families and businesses, all over NSW and QLD! Our year consisted of 27 weddings, 3 births, 8 engagements, 2 trash the dress, 16 Maternities, 17 Newborns, 14 Commercial shoots, 12 Family portrait sessions and 3 boudoir sessions. I’m so thankful to all the incredible people who0 continue to support us here at CCP. Without you, we wouldn’t be here, and I wouldn’t be able to spend my days doing what I love!
On that note, because I feel this post is going to continue being epicly large, I will stop talking and lets just enjoy some of my favourite images from such a totally awesome year!
